Select a Reference for the reference type field u_section

I have created 3 tables.
1. School
2.Class
3.Section

I have enabled the extensible for Class and Section tables. But when i'm trying to create a 2 New coloumns in the section table like  class and section & given the type as reference. when i'm saving this content i'm getting the below issue.

"Select a Reference for the reference type field u_section"

How to resolve this issue?

What table are you trying to create a Reference field to? A Reference field by definition refers to another table. Did you select a table when you created the field?

When you create a reference field on a table, you need to say what it is referencing to, otherwise you can't save it. So if you create the new fields, make sure to fill in what they are referencing and your 'issue' is resolved.

Please see below screen shot and add a table into the referance fields. if added string field then update that field using config dictionary.
