Sending a notification from ServiceNow to Microsoft Teams?

Is it possible to send a notification to the user on microsoft teams?

For eg: when comments are added to the incident record, caller should be notified on microsoft teams instead of email notification.

Note: Ask here is to notify user on individual chat and not on a particular channel on teams.

Yes, possible via two apps provided by ServiceNow "Now Actions" and "Virtual Agent"

This is something which caught my eye earlier today. Is there any cost associated with this app?

Hi

Did you try it out, and did it work to send to users instead of only to channels?

I also tried the Spoke which only posts to Channels....

Let me know, please.

I was just occupied with a couple of other priority things. I will be looking into it from 1st week of September onwards probably and will keep you posted.

Microsoft said they have not exposed any such API for anyone to notify the individual users. If that is the case, it will be interesting to see the possibilities of the ServiceNow plugin.

Hi @theUltimateWinner , did you managed to set this up?  If so were you able to link a SNow dev and test instance to a test instance of MS Teams at the same time?  We only have one MS Teams test instance but dev & test instance of SN, so would be nice if both SN instance can link to make it easier to check dev is working and when there are remedial actions/enhancement needs to be made and we don;t have to keep changing the config somewhere esp if it's managed by a teams admin
