Sequential approvals - Flow designer

Hi

I have searched and searched and tried all possible solutions that I could find about sequential approvals in Flow Designer.

My flow currently looks like this:

And it almost works as it should.

My only problem is that when approver 1 (Line manager) approves the RITM state changes to "Approved" shortly and the activity stream shows this:

Shortly hereafter the second approval flow "kicks in" and the state is changed back to "Requested".

My current main concern is that when the approver 1 approves and the RITM changes state to "Approved" the SLA record is created and running for a short while until the second approval flow starts.

Has ANYONE come up with a solution for this ?

are you updating approval there??

If yes removing updating there
