Service Now related lists new record in Configurable workspace

Hello, we have added related lists to the case form in the configurable workspace, and we see an Add button but unable to add a new record. Clicking on it does not do anything. Is this related to security roles? We tried admin role too with no luck. We are able to add the new parent case record but the related list new record is the issue.
any help is greatly appreciated.

As part of troubleshooting, check from the native UI form. If the issue exist from these as well then probably some ACL or server side code is aborting the action.

You need to create a record in the sys_declarative_action_assignment table with the Action Model set to Related List...
Additionally, if the Add button appears but doesn’t respond, it may be due to unsupported workspace logic, ACL restrictions, or server-side scripts aborting the action. Checking behavior via the native UI can help isolate the issue...
