I am looking for a way to automate the assignment process of service now cases. I really don't have much details about that but got some APIs that I can use to do that task. Just wanted to confirm is there any sandbox or testing env/framwork service now provide us. That I can use to see the structure of JSON request and response these APIs use perform the update in internal tables. I wanted to test the flow in sandbox before going for testing on my organizational internal infrastructure.

Hi Vaibhav,
You can get a personal developer instance, PDI, by going to https:\\developer.servicenow.com and requesting one. That will get you a fully functional ServiceNow instance specifically intended to be used in ways like you describe.
When you get a PDI, be aware that you need to do something with it at least once every ten days or it will be reclaimed. I find that logging into the instance is sufficient. Also, it's a good idea to back up any work on your PDI to GIT or via export to be safe.
Hope that helps.
