Service Operations Workspace: Additional mandatory field in the Resolve modal

I'd like to an extra custom field (u_cause) in hte modal displayed when clicking on the "Resolve" declarative action, as it is a mandatory field for us in order to resolve an incident.

I tried modifying the Action Payload Definition but I don't see any difference.

Actually, I had made another tried before where I had put u_cause as the 4th parameter and I see now that even after updating the payload, my extra field is still shown as the 4th field in the related list.

What do I miss? How should I proceed to add an extra field in the modal?

Great workaround Glenn. Agree that this should be a configuration option.

Hi there,

This is an OOTB configuration as of Utah release. Please see documentation for instructions on how to add your custom 'u_cause' field to the Resolve declarative action modal in SOW: Configure the Assign or Resolve dialog box for an incident

If this answer is helpful please mark correct and helpful!

Hi @chrisperry ,

Thanks for your answer. It seems to go in the right direction. However, neither on our Utah instance or on my Vancouver PDI, I see those views on an incident form.

There's a "SOW Modal" view that may be related to that but even if I add the desired extra fields, it doesn't seem to the only step to have them displayed on the modal in SOW when clicking on "Resolve".
