Hi all,
I was just wondering what was the best size to create an image for the service portal?
I find that when I add an image, it does not orientate the way I would like, and it does not have the facebook cover feature where you can move the image up and down.... so It cuts the peoples heads off from the image... haha.
Thanks in Advance
Cheers
Brendan

The one I am using is 1920x1080, although that is probably a little on the large side (1920x800 or so is probably more reasonable). My approach is to use an image that is more abstract, or in which the subject matter is more or less centered (upper-middle is good). This is because the image is set to cover, and will grow and zoom (while maintaining aspect ratio) depending on the proportions of the browser window in which it's displayed. Responsive UI means you have to think a bit differently.

Cheers John,
I think you are right - on my screen (1920x1080) the images will be different to people that have a smaller resolution.
Now to find an image that will work well, all the images I have tried (after cropping to 1920x800) are still all over the place.
