Service Portal: Display Journal Field outside Activities (using journal_list or journal field)

Hi all,

I'm not able to display a journal field in the Service Portal outside of activities (the input is displayed properly, but no list, if we do a journal list to display the list, it shows an empty field...).

After investigation, I've found only 1 way to display journal fields:

- Activate Live Feed for the table

- Add Activities to the "Service Portal" view or to your view displayed on the service portal (can be specified in your pages URLs)

- Add at least one journal field to the activities --> if not the "Conversations" are not shown...

---> Then "Activites" are displayed as a "Live Feed" but only the Journal fields are displayed in theses activities.

I've raised a /hi ticket to ask the question, because on my view it's clearly a bug that the journal and journal_list fields are not displaying journal entries as in the normal interface. There is a /hi problem raised: PRB737190.

Do you have done other findings about the display of Journal Entries in the Service Portal?

There is currently no standard widget to support this.



Please note that the following enhancement request has been raised:



PRB737190 New widget to support display of journal fields on Service Portal



In the meantime, customers should consider implementing their own custom widget to implement the requirement.
