Is it possible to view the catalog tasks in service portal? If yes, what is the role required?

Hi @Devika  

 

Catalog task for fulfillers not for end user and there is no purpose to show task to end users. So as per me, not a valid requirement.

The user is a scrum master requesting complete access to the service portal.

What SM will do to get full access on portal? Is he/she raised any request and want to track? Better to ask SM to check in native view or create a repprt on SCtask.

 

very simple

 

If you order something from a restaurant , will able to see the all task that a chef follow? No

so in same manner there is no purpose to show task to end users.

Hi @Devika  ,

 

To view catalog tasks, the user needs appropriate roles. Typically, users need the following roles to view their own catalog tasks:

    1. sn_request_read: Allows users to read catalog request

    2. sn_task_read: Allows users to read tasks.

 

You can view catalog tasks as well with the RITM sys id in a widget, by doing glideRecord.
