Hi all,
We have a variable of type "encrypted field" called secure information in the sc_task table. That field is also encrypted using a column level encryption. Meaning it has an Encrypted Field configurations record set up and an encryption context record.
Question:
1. is this the right way of encrypting or should the variable be of type "string"?
2. if i keep the variable as type "encrypted text" should i delete the records in the Field encryption application?
Sorry but i am really confused why this was set up like this.
