Hello for all! Wanna to ask about ServiceNow integration with Active Directory. What should I do first? Is it necessary to create MID server? Or I can do It directly connecting with LDAP?  How I connect to AD via LDAP, but on docs I see that i should create MID server but i don't understand why? Explain me please

Hi,

A MID Server is highly suggested because that's the only way to connect securely to your AD network. The only time a MID Server isn't needed is if your AD is exposed to the public...and...that's HIGHLY unlikely to happen.

Once you set up the MID server, it's pretty easy to finish the rest of it.
