Hi All,
We have a requirement to upload a specific attachment to a defined SharePoint path from ServiceNow.
We have installed the SharePoint Online plugin. As per the documentation, it is mentioned that full access to SharePoint is required. However, due to organizational policy, we are unable to obtain full tenant-level access. Instead, we have been provided with selected application permissions limited to a specific SharePoint site/path.
In the OAuth entity profile, the scope is mentioned as:
https://<MS-SharePoint-tenant-name>.sharepoint.com/.default
Since we do not have access to the entire tenant, could you please confirm whether we can use the actual SharePoint site URL (to which access is granted) instead of the tenant-level URL for the scope?
Also, for the HTTPS connection, we have configured the connection URL as:
Please let us know if this configuration is correct, or if any changes are required to support path-restricted SharePoint access.
