Setting the landing page for users logging in to default

Client has basic UI and no Next Exp turned on.

Currently the login for any user shows up as a blank page

I would like this to either be the Incident>overview or Self Service dashboard as a landing page after logging in for all users.  I have tried changing this in the User preferences but nothing seems to work.  The following is just an example of the links I am trying to use.

How do I set this?


Self Serve is $pa_dashboards_overview.do
Incident Overview is $pa_dashboard.do?sysparm_dashboard=18b1f472533130104c90ddeeff7b12a6

System Definition > Script Includes. Search for SPEntryPage.

I dont think this would work.  The user logs into the instance (UI) so they can deal with incidents.  When they log in I want them to be directed to the Incident Overview page.  There is a lot of referring to the service portal.  Our client isnt even using SP.  I am sure I am confused but still relatively new at this and need more assistance
