Share Reference Lookup not Displaying Results

I have encountered this problem on an Australia Patch 2 -hotfix 3a instance.

 

The problem is with sharing reports. The search bar is not providing any results even tough it should match on multiple records:

The search is stuck in the infinite "Searching" state with an occasional render like this:

I have looked in the dev console and i see that this is not a network or DB problem, as I see the payload of users when searching on any of the queries.

I am aware of sharing problems on this version, but I wanted to ask if anyone else encountered this so I can conclusively say this is a SN problem and I should submit a ticket.

if you are sure this was working fine before upgrade then raise a case with ServiceNow
