shared dashboard problem

I have a user who is trying to share a dashboard with his group.  When his co-workers attempt to open the link from the email notification they receive they see the dashboard but all content is blank.  Each little section of reported data says "Report visible only to a specific user or group".  I confirmed the plugin "Report Security - enforce access control checks" is active".  Anything else I can check out?  I did a test and the system admin account can pull up the link just fine, so it must be some sort of permission issue?

Usually means the Report sharing level is set to Me. Open one of the Reports, click the drop down on Save, and select Sharing. You need to change that to Everyone or Groups/Users and define who can see that report.

If he doesn't see those options, will need to give the roles: report_group and/or report_global

hi there

we have about 30 widgets in a dashboard and this problem is shown at 5 of them. every other widget shows data to people who are eligible to view the dashboard.

a worksmate remmbers, that there was a feature, to inherit rights from the dashboard to the widgets, but cant remember the name.  

does someone of you know this feature?
