show an pop-up alert on Service Portal when new comment has been posted to a user's incident/request.

Hi Community,
how to achieve below requirement 

I would like to create a small popup/message that appears within the portal whenever an incident or task ticket is updated with an additional comment. This message would appear momentarily, and only to those users who are assigned to the ticket.

Any guidance or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Mahesh,

will your assigned user always be on service portal? you have an option to follow the task  where any update will be shown in connect. ideally the task fulfillers work in the agent view or application view, not on portal.

Hi Mahesh,

 

In general, Portal is used by end-users to request or to raise Incidents.

Fulfiller or the helpdesk mostly works on the backend.

 

Note: If you're trying to customize the portal, it involves cloning the out of box widgets and then changing the code(HTML, Client script, Server Script)
