Showfield message not shown in red in portal

Hi,

 

Have anyone encountered this issue wherein the error type is not shown in red?

In the catalog client script @Ankur Bawiskar  a Onchange one

it should work.

Did you try opening the same catalog item in other portal and see if it shows in red color?

you are checking in which portal?

Only in service portal
