Splash Screen

Hi,

I have an Geneva instance in which the UI 16 Overview Help is available but the splash screens do not get displayed for any user when they login for the first time.

They are able to see the splash screens only when they click on What's new available under the ? icon on the homepage.

The User preference (overview_help.visited.ui16) is also not available for any user. Any thoughts?

Hi Ashwin,



If the user preference is not available then please create the one with name overview_help.visited.ui16


set user field to empty and value field to false.



Logout and login once after the above change and check once.

Hi Pradeep,



I did create a User Preference like you suggested. When I keep the user field blank, the System Checkbox is automatically made true.

I tried logging out and again logged in but it did not work


sorry I mean set value to false


Just go ahead and update value field to false and check once.
