SSO Test Connection - Logout Results Error

Hi Team.

I upgraded my instance's MultiSSO plugin to MultiSSOv2 by following the steps on this page:  Upgrade instructions for the New York and later Multi-SSO plugin - Support and Troubleshooting (serv....  All went well until I ran the IDP connection test where I received the following error:

-------
SSO Logout Test Results
-Cannot logout of IDP's session.
-Test Connection user is same as the user logged into the system through Multi SSO.
-------

Everything else on the test indicated "received", "retrieved", "validated" and "succeeded".

I looked at the log and the only information that did not have a successful message was this: **** NEED LOGOUT SET TO TRUE ****

I looked at the Installation Exits (including MultiSSOLogoutv2 which is set to TRUE) and Single Sign-On Scripts and they were set as indicated in the troubleshooting information on the above linked page.

Any suggestions on what the Test Results error message indicates and what I can do to resolve it will be greatly appreciated.

This is not the error. This is just an information, As you are testing the connection as the logged in user it will not logout your session. Its the default expected behavior.

You may try using some other user login credential to test SSO or create temporary admin id and login as that user and try with your domain credential when you test the connection.

Note: Post testing you can delete the temporary admin account.

Hi  Vasantharajan ,

Im facing the same issue.

But even if we create temporary admin id then that ID will become current and it will throw the same error right ?

Tarun

Hi @Tarun Chandra G

1. Create user whose user id is not same as your windows login id say myadmin and grant admin role.

2. Use Incognito mode in chrome browser or In-Private window in other browser.

3. Login as myadmin and test the SSO connection.

Thanks Vasantharajan N.  I granted the admin role to one of my peers and had him do the test and he received the same Logout Test results as I did.  I removed the admin role from him account after the test.
