Hi, what controls the list of available fields in Stacked By fields section of a bar report.
I created a custom string field for task_sla, which is reflecting under the Group By section but not under the Stacked By section. I would like to have it reflect under the Stacked By section so that I can use it. Please advise

Hello Theoracle,
Boolean, reference, and choice lists can be used as stacked fields. Date, date/time, integer, long, string, and text fields cannot be used as stacked fields.

I received the same thing from ServiceNow too
The Stacked By field is designed to be used by fields that have multiple choices. In order to have a field appear inside the "Stacked By" drop down list, the dictionary record must have the field "Choice" in the "Choice List Specification" set to "Dropdown with -- None --". After making this modification, save the dictionary record and you will be able to select the field in the Stacked By list
