State field in the custom field changging back to Draft state when changes

Hi All,

I have a State field which is extended from the Task table for my custom table. Whenver any select any state it is showing as Draft. I checked the Default value of the state in custom table is Open. Iam not sure why it gets changes. Could someone help on this. Thanks in Advance.

You need to check the dictionary override, as the state inherits from the parent table.

I could not create dictionary override. My custom table is not showing up in the table field for creating new Dictionary overide

Dictionary entry needs to created on an extended table. And there u will select the custom table.

Check any onload client scripts in that table making state to draft.
