State field (of type workflow) How does it work?

How the state gets updated of below field. It is of type "workflow".

Hi @Obito,

When a field is of type Workflow, this is simply a 'Choice list field' that displays a stage in a workflow. When the workflow updates, the field or in your case the state, updates.
