Static Noise added to the wav file which is attached thru Attachment API

Attaching .wav file in Incident ticket thru Attachment API (/api/now/attachment/file) using Java.
As mentioned in API docs (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-api-reference/page/integrate/inbound-rest/concept/c_... I have converted the wav file into binary and then passed in request body.
File is attached to the ticket successfully but with static noise is added to the file. Original file is perfect to hear without any noise.
Why this noise added to the wav file once added in to the ticket ?
