Steps to give roles to a ACL

I have ACL for 2 tables. How I can give role to these ACLs. Actually I can see the following image while editing / adding ACL but there is no option to add roles to the respective ACL. Could you please help in this...

After I elevated my security_admin I had to double click where it says 'Insert a new row'. Then I was able to add a new Role.
