Store Apps available on PDI

I saw a few posts on Twitter that store apps can now be made available to a PDI.  Is there any documentation on how a vendor can do this?  I have a store app that is not working properly in our instances and have been troubleshooting the issue with the vendor for months.  I would like to install the app in my PDI to compare functionality.  Thanks.

Just checking if this has been resolved. I have a similar problem. even simple spokes like google sheets are not available to install from PDI directly. Do we need to contact the vendors?
