Strange initial password on new PDIs

Today (Saturday) I released my PDI only to request a new one (wanting to have it in the new data center and on Washington) and once the PDI is ready, I see me the instance information and for some reason I couldn't actually locate the password anywhere as it was obfuscated with asterisks (or so I thought..) - if that's you, please be aware that the asterisks ARE actually the password

Yes.. the asterisks... they are the password as the PDI ready email from ServiceNow demonstrates:

So if this happens to you, go ahead and simply copy/paste those asterisks into the 'Current password' field - simples..

 
Maybe it's fixed for you and you never find this post - I can only assume this was a case of:

Hmmmm I do recall seeing the same, and just thought let's reset the password. Didn't try the ************ ðŸ¤£
