Survey image scale: manage spacing between image

Hi,

We'd like to decrease space between emotes in an image scale survey. The gap between emote is to large as screen below.

Is anyone has a clue to do that ?

Same. I am being asked to re-do our survey to use stars/smileys/images instead. The built in ones aren't working, and when I upload some, it looks like the above spaced out across the screen. Not at all like it looks in the documentation-

How do we get the spacing to look tight, like it does in the docs?

Same. I am being asked to re-do our survey to use 5 stars instead of the smileys images.

I was able to create what I am looking for using the Image Scale Control in the Survey Designer.

 

But now I am being asked to make the stars below the selected one look selected as well. Example, if you select the 5^th star, stars 1-4 will look selects as well.

 

I also still have the issue where the stars are spread out across the page. Does anyone know if there is a way to group them together? Maybe via CSS?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

We are having the same issue and the spacing is resulting in images dropping to next line .. adding comment to bubble up this question in community.... screen shot:
