Switch to Classic UI

Hi folks, 

Anyone knows where to identify the UI Action (if applicable) for the 'Switch to Classic UI' and 'Switch to new UI' hyperlinks in Kingston Create a report form layout

Tried to search in UI Macros, UI Actions but did not have luck! nor did it find in Catalog Client script (controller) based on below browser element inspecting

Any advice would be appreciated.

As per my knowledge we dont have access to this element and layout.

Hi Hardit

My organisation has customised the layout to force using classic, and when users create a new report, the opens in new form classic layout, however, there are exceptions made to admin user who can see the switch button, but they are unable to switch it back as the hyperlink has disappeared.   This might have been done during our upgrade process, and I just wanted to know more about the link and how to make it appear again.

If you are trying to adjust this for individual users or all users you need to adjust the User Preference called reporting_new_report_designer.

You could also use developer tools in your browser to see what the underlying code does. What are you trying to achieve?
