Sys_popup view for a specific table

We created the view "sys_popup" in the table "ast_contract". This view should be applied when we preview contracts from another records table "Vendor Engagement". As a user when I open Vendor Engagement and preview Contract, the sys_popup view is not applicable. The user can go to the corresponding Contract record, he can't see the sys_popup from the views list. By default another customer view is displayed and he can't change it. Could you please help how to make sys_popup view effective on the Contract reference in Vendor Engagement?

If you go to "System UI -> Views" and filter by the name "sys_popup".



If you go to "System UI -> Form sections" and filter by view "Sys_popup".

Yes, if I open Views and sys_popup I can see the form sections and there the table "ast_contract" is existing, but it still does not work when I preview Contract record from Vendor Engagement record.

each table has only 1 sys_popup view

Is this happening with limited set of users or for all?

when somebody does preview using i icon the same view is shown

please share screenshots.

It happens for all users.

The view "sys_popup" is not displayed when I preview the record, in our case we don't want to display a specific field from Contract, and that field is not included in "sys_popup", but when I preview the record I can see that field as well.
