System Clone - where to find/how to calculate what backup is been taken?

Hi Experts,

I wonder where to get the information IN ADVANCE (before the actual clone is been performed) what date will be included (timestamp of the backup to be cloned to the other instances).

We need to know what data will be included.

So if we plan ti clone on 10pm - what production data will be included? There need to be some kind so reliable information available to plan the propper cloning. Could not find anything that seems to be reliable.

I know that AFTER the clone has been done, the message will be provided. But we need to know before.

Thank you!

Hi,

You mean from your Prod and then setting up clones of that to your Test and to your Dev? Unfortunately, it seems you're unable to schedule two from the same instance. If it can work (with the certain tables you need, etc.) you could potentially set up a Prod to Test clone, then a Test to Dev clone (after the time your Prod to Test clone is done AND somehow you timed it with a backup...which is very unlikely...).

It would have to be broken up.

I would definitely submit an enhancement request to SN in regard to the cloning process to perhaps have some sort of alert or info box saying: your target instance will be cloned with the source instance backup with the time/date of 'XX:XX XX/XX/XXXX'. So that we'd know.
