tab and field are missing

One of our techs is unable to view two things that should be visible on our repair form (see the attached docs for comparisons):

1. The asset tab

2. The sub-state dropdown menu

This is an issue in both dev and prod.   This has been tested on a different computer where the user was not previously signed in and does not appear to be a browser issue. Opening up CS0001361 by other techs allows them to see the substate and also asset tab in the repair forms.

Any advice?

Hi Josh,



Can you check if there is any Client script(customized on your instance) to hide tabs/make field readonly as per role or something.


Also does both user have same roles? This can also be related to ACL issue.

Thanks for your response.   The user has the exact same roles as another tech who has no issues.   And because that's the case, any client script or ACL issue should apply to both, right?


I'll add that I am unable to duplicate the problem when impersonating the user.


What do you advise?
