Table relationship Incident > Change

Evening All,

 

I have a requirement to link changes to an incident and vice versa. Basically if a change is put into production and it causes incidents to be opened we want to be able to:

  1. Go to the change and see related incidents (One to many)
  2. Go to individual incidents and see the related change (One to one)

On the change form I can see a related list for "Incidents Caused by Change" in which I can make an incident but this doesn't really meet the need as this related lists only seems to track items created from that related list menu.

Has anybody related these two before? If so do I need to make a new field to track the incident numbers or better yet what did/would you do to fix this?

Hi Steve,

You need to configure the list control in order to see the edit button in the related lists. Please replicate the below steps:
