We have successfully connected the taxonomy from our portal to the Now mobile app and it works, but under the "Browse (topic)" tab it does not show all the articles/requests under it unlike the portal.

For mobile, this is an expected behavior. If you need to display the secondary topics in the content, change the value of the system property "allow.rollup.mesp" to "true".
