Test record created without saving + fields read-only when using custom "New" button-Test Management

Hi everyone,

I implemented a custom "New" button on the Tests related list (Story form) to create and link a Test automatically.

Current implementation (UI Action):

The Test Case window gets opened and all fields are disabled. Even the mandatory fields are not getting properly displayed.

Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.

Hi @AidaS ,

 

Everything is available in OOB. Why you are doing the customization. Please mention the specific reason to Create New using script . 

 

If you have OOB Create ACL on tm_test case and if the ACL role you add to user role ( via group or role), they will get New button.
