ticket table usage

Hi,
Does anyone know the use of ticket table available in Snow?
I have a requirement to request a resource temporarily without associating it with project/project task/demand and other tables. If ticket table is not used anywhere in other functionalities, i am planning to use it for task reference in requesting a resource.
Please let me know if the ticket table is part of any plugin and if this table can be used in the PPS functionality.

Ticket is the precursor to the "call" table. It is extended from the task table, but does not add any fields OOB.

If you are not using it for anything else, you may use it as you wish.

Hi Sreedhar,
Be aware that the "call" table is probably part of the ITSM owned table. Any fulfiller for this table would be included in the ITSA subscription (possibly 100$/month) if she/he is have not the ITIL role.
My advice: Don't use this table, or a child table of it, for anything non IT related.

I concur. Before doing development, always be aware of cost implications. If you are unsure, reach out to your account team. Our licensing program has changed in the past and it is likely to change in the future. The above $100/person/month may not always be accurate.
