Tooltip in service portal

Hi everyone,
I want to set tooltip for a catalog item like when I hover on the catalog item then the entire item name should be displayed outside in the hover .How can I achieve this in the service portal

Hi @pjnath77 ,
You can utilize the Hint field to provide additional information:
Navigate to: Service Catalog > Catalog Definitions > Maintain Items
Open your desired catalog item and locate the variable you want to add a tooltip to and then fill in, the Hint field with your tooltip text..

Thanks for the reply, Instead of catalog item variable i need this tooltip hover added to the name field on sc_cat_item table.

Hi @pjnath77 ,
I think OOB I haven't found it anywhere. Maybe you need to go ahead with some custom solution, may be Clone & Customize the SC Catalog Item widget with uib-tooltip function.
