Translating Catalog Label Variables

We are in the process of translating our Service Catalog to multiple languages and we have attempted to add several custom translations through the sys_translated_text table after the initial translations have been completed.

One thing we are noting is that while most fields are being translated, Catalog Variables of type Label are not.  We had set up the Translated text to point at both the Question Text and the Sys Name of the Variable, but the Label remains untranslated.

Does anyone know the exact confogiration to translate these Catalog Variable label fields?

@tahnalos Open the Label variable form in the language you wish you language to be translated. Replace the question text in the same language and save the changes. This way a copy of your Question text translation will be saved in sys_translated_text and the label would be translated in that language. Repeat the same process with other lanugages.

This isn't a regular field.  This is a variable, and there is no Label anywhere in the variable itself.  Unless you can point out where this can be found.

Hi,

Easiest way I found to solve is, login with your dev login and change your language to the desired language.

Navigate to the the label which you want to translate to and update it with the new label value and save it.

It will just create an another record for your in that langauge.
