UI action not available in Record producer?

I am creating a record producer which would create a demand record. However the front end has lots of fields and there are fields to be shown / hidden based on a select box. In a catalog item, normally I would use UI action to hide/show fields. Here I dont' see the UI action tab. I see catalog script and I can use that to control visibility. But wanted to confirm  there are no UI actions in recrod producer .

If so, is there a specific reason?

You must be talking about UI policies.

It is there in record producers as well. If you dont see it, add it from the Related List of the record producer.

It is called Catalog UI Policies.

Thanks Sanjiv.  Yes you are right. I am referring to the UI policy which is missing in the related list for me. This is what I have 

I dont see UI policy in the related list. Is there a place from where I can add it?

In the record producer, right click on the header and select Configure->Related lists.

From there add Catalog UI Policy->Catalog Item from left bucket to right bucket.
