UI Action - on RITM to create a record producer record directly

Hi All,

I have the requirement to create a record producer directly from an UI action placed on an RITM

Req detail:

1. create a UI action on RITM form name - "Create Incident"

2. When this UI action is selected it should create incident but it should also show variable editor

3. While I read it is possible only when inc are created via record producer, is there a way that a record producer can be submitted and Inc gets created when users select this UI action.

The short answer to this is, of course, "yes", but can you share some more information:

- on #2, do you want the Incident created right after the clicking of the UI Action, and auto-populate some variable information so they show in the Incident form?

- or can you just open a new tab with the Record Producer loaded?

check if there is OOB UI action on RITM table

If not then you can redirect user to record producer and auto populate the variables and once incident is submitted the variable editor can be seen on incident form
