UI Builder Form Implementation

With Tokyo, the UI Builder form component now mostly works with the great new Standard record data resource, Presets, functional template pages including Blank Record. I've gone ahead and removed all my ugly workarounds with Platform views of forms in iFrames and links to pages with Platform views of forms, and pulled them all into UI Builder.

But...

The (i) buttons on reference fields don't work. Worse than not working, they CRASH THE PAGE
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0') at Ho (sn-canvas-router.contentParser.js:39:27) at ie (sn-canvas-router.contentParser.js:106:18) at Zo (sn-canvas-router.effects.js:68:14) at sn-canvas-router.effects.js:180:4 at Object.fn (createUpdateProperties.js:61:12) at hr.timeout (index.js:243:10) at requestIdleCallback.js:7:3

I have found no way to hide these buttons and no way to capture the event and thus handle it differently. (Yes, I've looked and experimented quite a bit.) Does anybody know a way to accomplish either of these things?

Having multiple page killer buttons on my form page seems unfortunate in the extreme. I've gone too far to turn back, but removing my ugly workarounds was a mistake. Now I am about to put a notice at the top of these pages saying, "DO NOT CLICK (i) buttons, so sorry, not our fault, ServiceNow is..." This will be embarrassing and painful. Any help will be much appreciated.

(Does anybody know if the critical ability to categorize the posts by work area within the Developer forum is in anybody's queue to reimplement?)
