Hi All,
I'd like to ask, whether there's any option to write single client script in UI builder / Workspace that would also work on native form? For example I will write client script that will show field message on particular field but it will also work on native form in native UI.
So instead of 20 client scripts for each field, workspace will control both, workspace form and native form.
Thank you

I have glide record data resource to get form fields and their values and controlling behavior via client script. This data resource has all methods from native client script like .showFieldMsg or .hideFieldMsg.....but this is only controlling form component on workspace. It's not affecting native form.

Can you show the script? I want to see why the script only works on workspace and not on native ui. Do you have a view mentioned there? In Client scripts there is view field, if you write workspace there it will only work for workspace.

script is written in UI Builder for workspace not in native view.
Again I want to avoid creating client script on form in native UI.

Dont think you can skip that mate, Since your current script will only work on workspace.
You can create a new Client script (that runs on workspace and native ui) and add the functionality on that. Once script can have multiple showFieldMsg on multiple fields.
