Hello Community,
We have been working on implementing the multi-select entitlement functionality within the ServiceNow portal/workspace catalog item. During the investigation and implementation attempts, we explored multiple supported approaches available in the current Yokohama version of ServiceNow.
The following approaches were tried and validated:
- UI Page integration
- Service Portal Widget integration
- UX Macroponent implementation
- NOW Experience Component implementation
- Macro variable approach
However, none of the above approaches are functioning as expected within the Workspace Catalog Item renderer for dynamically loading the multi-select entitlement component.
Key observations:
- NOW Experience components are not getting initialized/registered in the Workspace Catalog variable rendering context.
- Macro and Widget rendering options are either unsupported or not exposed in the current renderer implementation.
- UI Page and traditional widget-based approaches are not loading properly inside the Workspace catalog experience.

Based on the analysis, this appears to be a platform limitation/restriction in the current ServiceNow Yokohama Workspace catalog renderer rather than an issue in the implementation itself.
If there is some way to resolve this please let me know.
Thanks
