UI Policy and actions getting duplicates after migrate to UAT

Hi Team , 

I am finding bit strange after deployment UI Policy and action dev to UAT

I can see in dev environment we have 4 UI policy in record Producer ..when I checked in UAT looks like policies are getting duplicated , i found there r 9 UI policy ..

my question is why its got duplicated instead of updating .

what could be the reason and the solution .

Were the UI policy and actions already present on UAT and you are trying to modify it?

I think since you moved it again the sys id were different and the actions got added again instead of getting updated. 

What id suggest is, back out your update set form uat, then import the ui policy and its actions from uat to dev via XML. Make the changes in dev (update/delete/add etc) and promote that to uat.
