UI view to filter a field

I've been trying to get a solution to filter the impacted location field on the location table to not show the empty values. I wanted to create a UI view but i don't see an option on how to filter the field. Is this a correct solution?

confused on how this is suppose to work if i need to filter the specific field and it doesn't pull up the options?
