This is a critical feature users use with ticket management.   Can't find it anywhere in U16.   Please help!

Hi Trisha, unfortunately, split layouts are not supported with UI16 anymore. If you need them, you have to go back to UI15.

As far as I know, the only think that you configure is the title (set this in sys_ui_title). For tasks, the assigned_to is also displayed, as well as the display value in the bottom right.

We also are missing this feature, it was a huge boost in efficiency with the ability to have multiple tabs. We just upgraded to Helsinki and our users are asking why it is missing.

Everyone here should create a enhancement request in HI.

Hopefully it will become popular enough to prioritize.

I know the UI/UX team have heard the customer requests and are looking at an improved tabbed experience. I don't know the plans for which release, but it is on the radar. Stay tuned...

We are now in London and ServiceNow recommended us to stop using List v3 and start using List v2 instead. The split feature is gone again! Here is a part of the text from the ticket (now called case):

"Your instance has list v3 enabled, which is the cause for issue in this case. Starting in the London Release due to a number of factors, we advise using list v2 because with v3 there are lot of issues experienced with the product."

List v3 is not supported anymore:

"The List v3 Plugin will not be available starting in the London Release due to a number of factors. First and foremost, the frustration our customers have experienced with the product. We believe it is time to correct the problem by building a more performant and feature-rich solution. We advise using list v2 until such time we can release the new product since we feel it is a superior, and a workable solution for most customers. During this time, we will only address critical outages and security-related defects with list v3, so that our development resources can continue moving forward with our new list component that will debut in limited form in Agent Workspace as part of our upcoming London Release. If you have a business need that has a dependency on List v3 that you feel cannot be solved with List v2, please provide some business impact information so that we can advocate on your behalf to identify a workaround or solution that meets your specific needs."

In my thoughts, I think that the way forward is going to be Agent Workspace. In there you can use tabs, and it is working quite well. Agent Workspace is also a functionality that is going to get more and more improvements in the coming releases.
