Unable to assign a Personal Developer Instance (PDI)

Hello,
I am trying to request my first Personal Developer Instance (PDI), but I continuously receive the error:
"We were unable to assign an instance to you. Please retry now."
I have already:
- Tried different releases.
- Used Incognito mode.
- Tried multiple times since yesterday.
Could someone please help me resolve this issue?

Don't worry, it's normal these days. Try to get a lower instance, preferably Zurich or below, and then upgrade to the latest version. The upgrade typically takes 3–4 hours."

ahoy @23h51a0533,
the Community has a couple of questions about requesting and accessing the PDIs posted recently.
So there might be some issue, my own PDI (Australia) is accessible whole day without any problems. For PDIs, there's no support so there's not much to do about it. If it will be confirmed as an issue there shall be an announcement in the top if the Developer portal, you can try to check it once a while.

Either wait for some time like 24-48 hours,
OR
Request for Zurich PDI instance and upgrade to Australia.
There is no support available for PDI.
