Unable to deactivate Service Catalog item

I have a catalog item that appears to be orphaned (in Utah). Looking at https://<instance>.service-now.com/sp -> Request Something -> select the category, I see two items which I believe were created separately, but have the same name. One has a logo and works as expected so I was asked to remove the second one.

I grabbed the sys_id of the duplicate item and found it in the sc_cat_item_list table, but when I click the name to open it, ServiceNow shows, "Record not found". So I tried adding a checkmark in the list view and clicking the Deactivate button. The list reloads, but the item remains active. Finally, I tried changing the value of "active" from true to false right in the column. That showed no errors, but when I refreshed the list, the value returned to "true".

Looking at all the items in the sc_cat_item_list table, I do see two entries with the same name and different "updated" dates and the one I want to keep is editable by clicking the name to open the record.

How can I get rid of this duplicate?

HI @Mike Hashemi

is it something OOTB or both both created by you.

Both were created by me.

Seems its cache issue now according to me. Check with Catalog builder are you able to deactive ?
