Unable to delete a field on child table inherited from parent table

Dear All,

I deleted a field which i made on cmdb_ci_appl (application table).

Now the field is inherited on its child table example tomcat server and other child tables.

These child fields which got inherited did not get deleted. I saw many community posts but unable to find an answer.

I want to delete the dictionary entry of the child table but i think as their parent field got deleted 

they are orphan now and cannot be deleted. i tried again making that field on parent but did not happened.

I tried fix script/background script none of them worked..

I dont want to clone this instance as a lot of work will be gone and lot of backup will be required for this.

So my last hope is raise a HI ticket or is there something i can try?

Hi ,

Ideally it should have deleted the related records. Try finding the record in deleted records and then try to retreive and then delete the record.Even with current scenario you should be able to turn the field to active false and continue with your work.Hope this helps.

Audit table is disabled due to ongoing maimtaince so it not capture it
