Unable to Edit or Close HR Case

SakshyaR

Hi Team,

We are facing an issue where users are unable to edit, reassign, or close an HR case assigned to them.

When they try to perform these actions, the following error message appears:

Write operation on table 'sn_hr_er_case' from scope 'Human Resources: Core' was denied.
The application 'Human Resources: Core' must declare a cross scope access privilege.
Please contact the application admin to update their access requests.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Sakshya

Hi @SakshyaR,

To resolve the issue you're facing with users unable to edit, reassign, or close an HR case, you can create a Restricted Caller Access Privilege. Here are the steps:

Ensure you are in the Human Resources: Employee Relations scope when creating this privilege.

  • Navigate to: System Application > Application Restricted Caller Access.

  • Click New to create a record.

  • Fill in these fields:

    • Source Scope: Human Resources: Core

    • Source Type: Scope

    • Status: Allowed

    • Target Scope: Human Resources: Employee Relations

    • Target Type: Table

    • Target: Table: Employee Relations Case

    • Operation: Write

  • Click Update to save.
