Hello There,
Greetings!!!
We have one user who shows ITIL access on his profile and have roles 36
When we try to remove the role after clicking edit button we aren’t able to see any ITIL role on new page where we drag role from left to right
But when I do edit for this user I’m not able to see any ITIL role on right
Tell me what to do as I don’t want any role for him and how to remove that.
Thanks,
Ashwini

Hi @b__AshwiniP
It seems that the ITIL role is inherited from another role, which is why you can't see it directly. You should check the 36 roles to identify which one inherits the ITIL role.
Additionally, you are following an incorrect practice. Never assign roles directly to users. Instead, always create a group and assign the roles to the group, then add users to the group. This approach ensures better management and scalability of roles within ServiceNow.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hello @b__AshwiniP
You can just edit the list view of related list which showcases role as per below screenshot, now you will see inheritance count which means the role is inherited from how many groups. If you click now Role Inheritance Map it will showcase you a pictorial format how the role is inherited to use from which all groups check second screenshot.
If my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.
Thanks & Regards
